holding spaces for deep connections
I work as a facilitator both individually and together with my amazing colleagues in new visions collective, offering engaging, holistic and transformative workshops, courses and trainings at the intersections of personal, ecological, spiritual, and political wisdoms.
beyond thematic workshops and courses I also love guiding group processes for teams and organizations that can help bring clarity, alignment, and a renewed sense of purpose.
my practice is rooted in a regenerative approach, attuned to the unique needs and dynamics of each group I work with, making all sessions immersive, engaging participants’ bodies, minds, senses, and imaginations in the exploration of the topics at hand.
You can explore some examples of my previous workshops and courses below and learn more about new visions work here. Don’t hesitate to reach out to see how we could collaborate to create a space for your particular need.
“believing that every interaction holds the potential for meaningful connections and personal and collective transformation, I see facilitation as sacred work and the role of a facilitator as one of first deeply listening and then creating the right structures and impulses for these connections to emerge”

Work That Reconnects
Work that Reconnects is a group process which helps people to (re)discover and experience their innate connections with the Earth, each other, oneself. To move from a sense of isolation to a sense of community and participation, from eco-anxiety and overwhelm to taking inspired action. It is rooted in deep ecology, systems theory, ancestral practices, and core teachings and methodology developed by Joanna Macy.
I am part of a global network of facilitators in this work, and have facilitated work that reconnect workshops both in the form of open workshops for general audience, and as tailored workshops for climate secretariat in Aarhus Municipality, activist groups, gathering for New Democracy Fund and in other contexts.

"This team journey was incredible. Connective. Self-reflective. Communion oriented. Bonding. Refreshing. Growth oriented. Mythological. I have laughed. I have cried. I have felt like being in a fairy tale with my good companions. The framework of the journey, the gamification and mysterious story-telling made the whole experience very bonding, honest and joyful. My takeaways are both personal, professional and social - spending extraordinary time together with colleagues and board members was a brilliant way to connect."

"It feels so great to know you are in this city doing this work. I appreciated the safe space a lot to explore topics that are often uncomfortable I loved the facilitation - calm, gentle, structured. It was great to attune more to each other and spend quality time together as a team. I feel we are more connected as humans and as colleagues in climate work."

"Thank you for your clarity, care and generosity. I felt deeply held, and safe in this workshop. Thank you for clearing the space for grief, fear, anger, emptiness - because we stand / sit on hope. I loved and cherished that you integrated where your practices come from. Whether it be you, your mentors, teachers, theories, stories. Acknowledging the lineage, the shoulders we stand on and roots we grow from. The access to go deep into this work came easy because of your courage and skill to hold the structure so beautifully, to set a clear frame, while leaving so much space for flexibility, to look with kind eyes. I'm inspired."

"I feel empowered, connected. I feel agency and power to create! Thank you so much! These kinds of spaces are so massively needed on conferences. To remind us we are here as full humans."

"It is so needed to have these moments of being together and sharing, imagining, dreaming about what relationships we want to have with each other. And to put it as priority - as one of the important tasks during the worklife, not just as a conversation to have "if" we have spare time and inspiration. We need to mindfully create the time and space for doing that. Thank you for this amazig workshop to have the space and tools for that."

"The workshop was so well prepared, with a format so we had something to work after. It was very relevant for all of us as employees / users / humans at Institut for (X). Safe space is a brave space and it was so inspiring to see how that was already reflected in the structure of the workshop. I also loved how hands on and informed it was - with the journal you had made and the examples from other cultural platforms tackling similar challenges. Tools of brainstorming and manifesting was also useful. "

"I’m leaving with so much. A wholeness in believing that we are connected to the earth and each other. That we are synergy. And the courage to trust my instincts and wild womanhood more. I really liked the mix of being invited to explore within myself and my communication with the world around me and the space being held for vulnerability and “trying things out, with the risk of loosing control for a while. Getting direct assignments to practice this other side of me. You are a magical human and space-holder. Your honesty, love and care, and attention to details made it all so special."

"It was such a breather. The topics covered and what we research can be emotionally taxing so just having an opportunity to take a step back and center in our bodies and emotions is so good. But it was also a great experience in listening deeply to other people and exploring racialization more somatically. I am also walking away with the reminder that there needs to be more of these spaces to explore our thoughts and emotions in academia. "

"I leave with a feeling of connection and common experiences between all of us. I liked the progressive weave of shared experience. It was an amazing invitation to explore different ways of thinking and I have learned a lot and feel inspired. It was also such a beautiful start for my TEH meeting. I got to know some of my colleagues on a much deeper level than ever."

"Cooperation with Liene in moderating our network meeting was very pleasant and smooth. The clarifying questions Liene asked after we had described our wishes were a great help in understanding better what we really want to achieve with our meeting. The moderation process itself also exceeded our expectations - the work sessions conducted by Liene were very effective, but at the same time humanly warm (just what you need if you want to make people work together). I really hope that we will be able to cooperate with Liene in the future and for longer period- she thinks constructively but at the same time really considers your needs."
